  • What is Designer Wardrobe?

    Designer Wardrobe is a New Zealand based fashion community offering amazing garments for rent, and an online marketplace for you to buy and sell pre-loved garments. We've partnered with Designer Wardrobe (DW) to bring you a more sustainable way to shop - giving your pre-loved Max garments a second life has never been easier!

    Each time you shop with us, you can opt-in to resell the items later on Designer Wardrobe's marketplace. The process is automatic, so when you're ready to resell, all you need to do is log into your Designer Wardrobe account and activate your pre-loaded listings.

  • How do I opt in to resell my items?

    A "Sell Later on DW" toggle will be visible on all eligible Max products that can be listed on Designer Wardrobe. Simply tap this toggle on before purchasing and the product details and images will automatically be sent to your Designer Wardrobe account drafts once you have completed your order.

    If you want to resell items from past purchases, visit the 'My Orders' page whilst logged in to your Max account. Once there, you can tap the "Sell Later on DW" toggle on eligible products, then hit the "Send to Designer Wardrobe" button at the bottom of the page to save the product details to your Designer Wardrobe account.

  • How do I access Designer Wardrobe?

    When you're ready to join the circular movement by reselling your Max garments, you can register an account with Designer Wardrobe any time via their website at www.designerwardrobe.co.nz/signup.

    Alternatively, your first garments sent to Designer Wardrobe from Max will trigger a registration email from Designer Wardrobe which you can follow to set up a new account.

    If you are already registered with Designer Wardrobe, you can access your account by visiting www.designerwardrobe.co.nz and your draft listings will be available to view here.
    Please note: You must use the same email address for both Max and Designer Wardrobe accounts for garments to sync over.

  • What if I don’t have a Designer Wardrobe account?

    No worries! After you've turned on the Sell Later on DW toggle and completed a purchase, you will automatically receive a sign-up email from Designer Wardrobe shortly after. When you're ready to log in, follow the link in your account activation email to finish adding your account details. As soon as you activate your account, your Sell Later listings will appear as drafts and you're ready to go!
    Please note: You must use the same email address for both Max and Designer Wardrobe accounts for garments to sync over.

  • How do I access my listings?

    When you're ready to activate your listings, all you need to do is log into your DW account at www.designerwardrobe.co.nz and you’ll find them saved as drafts under 'My Listings'. Alternatively, you can follow the link in the confirmation email you received via Sell Later with DW when you originally purchased the item. You can activate, edit or delete these listings at any time.

  • Can I list any product?

    You can resell most Max products on Designer Wardrobe. However, some products might not be eligible to list due to timeframe, category or price. If a product is not eligible to be listed, the Sell Later on DW toggle will not be available on the product page or in your order history. Please note that the eligibility of a product may change over time.

  • I forgot to turn the Sell Later toggle on - can I still list my items?

    Yes, you can. Simply log into your Max account, head to the 'My Orders' page under your account and select the items from each order that you want to resell by tapping the Sell Later toggle on, followed by the "Send to Designer Wardrobe" button at the bottom of the page. The selected garments will then be sent to your Designer Wardrobe drafts, along with their product name, images, retail price and recommended sell price. You can edit these at any time from your Designer Wardrobe account.

  • Can I list items from purchases made in store?

    If your in-store purchase was assigned to your customer account, the transaction details can be found in the 'My Orders' page under in-store purchases. From there, you simply turn on the Sell Later toggle on the items you want to add to your Designer Wardrobe account.

  • Is there a fee to Sell Later on DW?

    Creating an account and listing your pre-loved Max items with Designer Wardrobe is free of charge, they'll only take a small commission when your item sells. You can also include the shipping cost into your sell price so it is all taken care of for you. Once your item is purchased and delivered, the funds will be released into your DW wallet for you to access. Learn more.

  • How much should I sell my item for?

    On products eligible for Sell Later there will be a resale estimate on the product page based on the item's RRP. This estimate is based on the item being in good (or great!) used condition and will be automatically applied when activating your listing on Designer Wardrobe. You are free to update this price as required considering the item's condition. Designer Wardrobe's website will a give an indication of what similar items have sold for in the past as a helpful reference point.

  • I've re-sold an item, how do I ship it?

    You can choose to use Designer Wardrobe's "Book a Courier" service when shipping your sold item. You'll simply need to package up your item securely and write the buyer's name and address along with the courier service name and tracking number on the front and wait for the courier to collect it from your address.
